History of Queensland Blue Couch
Queensland Blue Couch is not a couch, nor is it native to Queensland. It was naturalised in Queensland from Mascarene Island and Madagascar in the early 1800’s.
Looking similar to a couch it is referred to as Queensland Blue Couch due to its popularity and exceptional performance in Queensland but it can be found thriving in areas from Sydney to Cairns!
It is a popular choice for domestic and commercial lawns and is often utilised for parks, schools and sports fields.
Appearance
With fine, soft leaves Queensland Blue Couch has a beautiful blue/green appearance and provides a lush coverage, highly suited to family lawns.
It produces minimal seed heads, and thus less mowing, making it easy to maintain domestically and commercially.
